How to Nail the Perfect Champagne Pop in Your Graduation Photos (2026 Grads!)
Here is to the perfect champagne pop in your graduation photos (2026 Grads!) 🎓✨🍾
Nothing says “I did it!” like a classic champagne pop during your grad photos-session. It’s fun, it’s iconic, and let’s be honest… it make graduation real. 😌✨🍾
If you’re planning to add a champagne moment to your 2026 graduation photos, here’s your super chill guide to making it look amazing — without stressing or soaking your entire outfit (unless that’s the vibe 😂).
You don’t need pricey champagne: a cheap bubbly actually pops better because it’s fizzier.
Bonus: If you are a non-alcoholic student but want to do the pictures of you drinking the champagne… you can get a sparkling 🍏✨Don’t open it all the way… this is the secret! ✋
Twist the wire off, loosen the cork just a little, and when you are ready for pics… then shake-shake-shake.Hold the bottle at a low angle and yessss away from your face. Aim the bottle slightly downward… away from you and the camera.
This gives you a big, wide spray and keeps the stream looking beautiful in photos.
(Also helps avoid baptizing me with champagne 😅🍾)One of my favs is the real, raw reaction that is always the best. 😆 Totally ok if you get excited and yell. The “omg it’s spraying everywhere” laugh and the last two poses are the victory pose 💥 and let’s drink a bit for the photos —— let everything happen naturally!!! those are the shots you will love. ✨
Trust your photographer (me) Photographers know the angles, the timing and the 1… 2… POP! moment. Your job is to focus on having fun. ✨
